Pagan Camp - Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 August 2008
Blackland Lakes Nature Reserve, Wiltshire
Pagan Camp is a small camping event established in 2004, giving people from many different paths an opportunity to get to know others in an atmosphere of tolerance and fun. It is especially popular with families, including those with young children. For many, this is one of the only chances in the year for children to socialise with others from Pagan families.
The unique feature of Pagan Camp is that all the workshops, stalls, and entertainment are provided by the guests. We do not pay speakers or facilitators, but instead encourage all our guests to contribute something to the camp, no matter how big or how small. Working together for the good of the group creates a sense of community that means many people choose to come back year after year.
As a result of this policy we are able to keep costs down. All you pay is the camping fee agreed between the campsite owners and the Pagan Camp organisers. Payment is in advance and is required before your place can be confirmed.
Pagan Camp is not affiliated with any group or organisation and welcomes guests from all backgrounds and belief systems.
How to book
To book you must first register by filling in the form on the right-hand side of this page, including details of what you can offer the camp community. This could be teaching meditation classes, providing talks or offering tarot readings. Even small things, such as providing biscuits and hot drinks are valuable.
Registering will give you access to the Pagan Camp message boards where you will be able to download a booking form and meet the other guests.
